All That Jazz

Which is the title of a song in Chicago. I would have loved to have seen the Broadway version, which had Bebe Neuwerth ("Lilith," ex- of "Dr. Frazier Crane."), who, for some strange reason, really dings my bell. Anyhow, looking forward to going to Chicago tomorrow to be with all three of my kids and Cheryl. Amanda and I are driving. It's been two years since I've seen Johnnie!

For what it is worth, I have a friend who saw the Broadway show and said that the movie version was better. Wonder if anonymous has an opinion on this?

I've never seen the Broadway version. I don't really care for the theater. But the movie version is great because of the one and only Catherine Zeta Jones. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, the woman has it all: she can sing AND dance, she has great comic timing (example, "Intolerable Cruelty," with the one and only George Clooney, sigh), she can act seriously (see "Traffic"), and she's hot. If I were a movie star, I would want to be Catherine Zeta Jones. And be cast opposite George Clooney. Sigh.
