I just changed the "comments" feature of Window on JT's World so that only "registered users" may comment. This is pending further communication and deliberation and I may change it back.
For now, if people who read the blog have trouble commenting, please send me an email.

After writing a letter to Mo Dowd, I had the recurring thought that I could never be a columnist with a big following for (the least of a long list of reasons )this: namely, I couldn't take the abuse such people receive by the thousands. Having been told that one sorry jackass pities me or that I just don't get it or that his God disapproves of me or that my soul is in jeopardy of hellfire is nothing in comparison. A while ago I was reading blog comments on a story about Michael Richards' tirade by a bunch of foul-mouthed racists and both the tirade (which I'd seen and heard on Olbermann) and the comments were shocking. It takes courage to stand up to all the hate and sickness out there.
