Oater Character Millard Mitchell

Not having anything better to do, one day I wrote this for Internet Movie Data Base. The Naked Spur, a Jimmy Stewart/Anthony Mann movie is on this afternoon on TCM. Mann/Stewart Westerns are better than average. This one was filmed around Durango, Colorado. Besides Jimmy and Millard, the movie has Janet Leigh, the always excellent Robert Ryan, and Ralph Meeker. Some of you might be amused by my biography of Mr. Mitchell; if not, perhaps by the movie. At least the scenery and photography really kick fanny.
